WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR FIRST VISIT
Congratulations on choosing a leading dental provider with over 23 years of experience in the field service patients just like you. At your initial visit, expect a thorough examination letting us know what your best next steps are and then, explaining them to you in great detail allowing you to make an informed decision about your care.
If you choose, your treatment plan can be implemented on the same day as your initial visit depending on the level of care you will be needing. Sometimes a second appoint is necessary to complete all of the essential care for your specific treatment plan.
Please help us with the following information at the time of the consultation:
- Your referral document and any radiography if you have any.
- A list of medications you are currently taking.
If you have medical or dental insurance, provide these documents before your visit. This will save you time and allow us to help you process any claim.
*IMPORTANT: A parent or guardian must come with all patients under the age of 18 at the consultation visit.
Please advise the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern before any treatment such as diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves, and joints, rheumatic fever, or any other medical condition that may affect your care. Additionally, please let us know if you are taking any serious medications for a heart condition, anticoagulant therapy or any other important medications you may be taking before your dental cleaning.
If your previous dentist has taken recent x-rays (less than 6 months), you can request that they are transferred to our office. If there is not enough time, to save time you can also pick them up from your previous dentist and bring them to your first visit. Lastly, if additional radiography is necessary, these can be made at our facilities.
